A big thank you once again to all at Moorend Academy who have for a third year running held a food appeal and non uniform day in aid of the Welcome Centre.

They raised over £444 along with a huge collection of food and toiletries.

Birkby Mosque supports the Welcome Centre

Following a talk in October to the children at Blacker Road mosque we had a fantastic response and the children collected a huge variety of bedding, household items and food to support local people in crisis.
