What’s in our packs
A typical food pack contains enough food for seven days and usually includes fresh bread, milk, spread, fruit and vegetables as well as dried, tinned and frozen food. Many people have limited or no cooking facilities and we have packs designed especially for them.
We provide toiletry packs that includes toilet roll, soap, toothpaste and shampoo/shower gel, sanitary products and disposable razors. We also have a toiletry pack for babies and a small supply of nappies and tinned baby food.
Kitchen starter packs are designed to help people with a new place to live, but no money. Often this will be women and children fleeing domestic violence or people who have been homeless. We provide pots, pans, cutlery, a tin opener, mugs, glasses, baking trays, sieves and bowls. Often we include a tea towel, sponges and washing up liquid.
The bedding packs are individually made up by identifying each client’s needs. We supply quilts (duvets), pillows, bedding sets, sleeping bags, blankets and throws, as required. We also have towels and cleaning packs.
